Senior Internet/Intranet Site System Administrator/Developer

Duties:

Must be able to translate applications requirements into the design of complex web sites, including integrating web pages and applications. Must be able to apply new and emerging technologies to the site development process.

Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.

General Experience:

Must have five (5) years of web development experience using current Web development and graphic tools, as well as, Web Server and database administration.

Specialized Experience:

At least three (3) years of experience designing, developing and deploying Web sites and/or Web applications, including product selection, configuration, installation, maintenance, and site specific Web development languages and relational databases.

General Responsibilities

The TO Contractor personnel shall:

  • Provide oversight and support for the design, implementation, development, maintenance, customization and integration efforts of SHA’s enterprise Internet and Intranet implementations.
  • Provide server management, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting support with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting SHA’s enterprise Internet and Intranet infrastructure
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to SHA staff and management;
  • Assist SHA staff in the preparation of documentation to describe new or changed processes;
  • Respond to information requests that business users submit through SHA’s Maximo Automated Help Desk Application.
  • Respond to critical trouble reports encountered after regular business hours by SHA’s Network On-Call Personal.
  • Respond to trouble reports or change requests (TR / CR Log) encountered by business users that are reported through SHA’s Maximo Automated Help Desk Application.
  • Assist in research and recommendations on new technologies.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of disaster recovery plans for various systems.
  • Create upgrade and migration schedules and plans that will minimize the impact on production and mission critical systems.
  • Train SHA staff, as needed.
  • Attend organizational meetings, as needed
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to SHA staff and management.
  • Assist the PM and BA in the preparation of documentation to describe new or changed processes.
  • Respond to information requests that business users submit through SHA’s Maximo Automated Help Desk Application (Maximo).
  • Respond to trouble reports or change requests (TR / CR Log) reported through Maximo
  • Assist in research and recommendations on new technologies
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of disaster recovery plans for various systems. TO Contractor Personnel shall create upgrade and migration schedules with plans that will minimize the impact on production and mission critical systems.
  • Train end users on assigned applications, as needed
  • Perform backups of the web, application, and database servers on a regular basis. This shall include daily incremental backups and full weekly backups of all volumes of servers;
  • Retain daily backups for one (1) month and retain weekly backups for two (2) years;
  • Store daily backups off-site in a location designated by the SHA.
